Vermilion River Watershed (IL Basin) TMDL Report

The Vermilion River Watershed in the Illinois Basin drains 853,606 acres in mostly Livingston County, but also parts of LaSalle, Woodford, McLean, Ford, Iroquois, and Marshall Counties. 85.5% of this watershed is devoted to agriculture. Cities or towns in this watershed include Streator, Pontiac, Fairbury, Oglesby, Forrest, and Flanagan.

Conservation assistance is provided by six NRCS Field offices, seven SWCD offices, and two Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) offices.
